BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Starting cornerback Leodis McKelvin is among five Buffalo Bills players who arent expected to be ready for the start of training camp this weekend after the team made a series of moves Wednesday. McKelvin and linebacker Randell Johnson were placed on the active/physically unable to perform list. McKelvin had hip surgery this off-season and practiced on a limited basis during the teams spring minicamps. Starting left tackle Cordy Glenn and defensive tackle Alan Branch were placed on the active/non-football illness list. The Bills did not specify Glenn and Branchs illnesses. All four players will be eligible for practice once cleared by the Bills medical staff. Starting linebacker Kiko Alonso was placed on the active/non-football injury list after he tore a ligament in his left knee while working out two weeks ago. Alonso was scheduled to have knee surgery and is expected to miss the entire season. The Bills also shuffled their roster by signing free agent linebacker Stevenson Sylvester and releasing tight end Mike Caussin. Sylvester was selected by Pittsburgh in the fifth round of the 2010 draft. He split time at linebacker and special teams in appearing in 50 games over the past four seasons with the Steelers. Caussin missed most of the past two seasons because of hip and knee injuries. Players begin reporting for training camp in suburban Rochester on Friday, with the first practice set for Sunday night.
